COVID-19 Vaccine Central

The Macomb County Health Department is an authorized provider of the COVID-19 vaccine. Working under strict guidelines issued by the CDC and Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS), residents can be assured that the vaccine is being properly stored, appropriately administered and available at no cost for all who are eligible to receive it. Our professional and friendly staff are committed to making the process as safe and easy as possible.

Walk-ins are welcome at our vaccine locations but appointments are strongly encouraged. New appointments are added on a daily basis. Eligible individuals are encouraged to check the system frequently, as changes and additions are made in real time.

Who can get vaccinated?

The COVID-19 vaccine is currently available to anyone age 12 and older. As of August 23rd, a third dose of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine is available by appointment for those aged 12 and above with compromised immune systems. Examples include those who have received solid organ transplants, are being treated for cancer or have an active or untreated HIV infection. Monday and Friday, 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Wednesday, 11:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.

Appointments are available for anyone aged 12 and older. In addition, as of August 23rd, a third dose of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine is available by appointment for those aged 12 and above with compromised immune systems. Examples include those who have received solid organ transplants, are being treated for cancer or have an active or untreated HIV infection.   • Only the person being vaccinated will be allowed in the building to maintain safe social distancing. Exceptions will be made for a family member or caregiver to accompany someone who needs assistance getting into the building.
  • Face masks are required to be worn inside the building.
  • Do not bring children to your appointment.
  • Please reschedule your appointment if you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 (such as fever, cough, chills, etc.)
  • There is no cost for vaccination and your insurance will not be billed.
  • Make sure to bring a photo ID card, a completed COVID-19 Administration Form, and your COVID-19 Vaccination Record card (if you are returning for your second dose).

MyCare Health Center

MyCare Health Center is offering the Moderna vaccine at our Center Line (586-756-7777) and Mount Clemens (586-783-2222), locations. Appointment is required. Available for individuals 18 and older. For more information visit: www.mycarehealthcenter.org.
